"Dwelling in Song of Songs" :: Harold and Diane Boyd

The book of Song of Songs is a grand love poem between two people, expressing and growing in their love for each other. It shows us a healthy and pure progression of love fulfilled and gives an example of how we can pursue intimate relationships in our own lives.

This teaching is part of our 2023 series, "Dwell: Abiding in the Shelter of the Most High.” In 2023, we will take another journey through the Scriptures, looking for the God-sightings in each book and seeing how we can learn to dwell in God's presence.

"The Books of 1 & 2 Kings" :: Carlos Cedeño

The books of 1 & 2 Kings tell the story of the kings of Israel after David. David's son Solomon, though wealthy, wise, and powerful, falls away from God towards the end of his life and begins a cycle that the nation follows after his death. The kingdom is divided into two during the reign of Solomon's son, Rehoboam, and then the divided kingdom goes on a journey of ups and downs with dozens of other kings and queens, all leading to a time of exile from their homeland.

This teaching is part of our 2022 series, "Anchored,” and is part of our study on the books of history.
