"Dwelling in Job" :: Debbie Schwartz

In the book of Job, we meet a man who constantly dwells in God's presence. But that doesn't exclude him from difficulties and calamity. In fact, his devotion to God makes him a target for all sorts of troubles. Yet, he maintains his commitment to dwelling in God to get him through.

This teaching is part of our 2023 series, "Dwell: Abiding in the Shelter of the Most High.” In 2023, we will take another journey through the Scriptures, looking for the God-sightings in each book and seeing how we can learn to dwell in God's presence.

"The Book of Job" :: Harold Boyd

Job's story is the oldest story in the Bible, dating back thousands of years before Christ himself. It's a story of testing, trial, suffering, and unspeakable loss but also of faithfulness and restoration. Job suffered in his life but never gave up his hope and dedication to God. This is the Book of Job.

This teaching is part of our 2022 series, "Anchored,” and is part of our study on the books of poetry.
