"Dwelling in Ezra & Nehemiah" :: Elliott Johnson

In Ezra and Nehemiah, we see the people of Israel beginning to return from exile in Persia. Leaders emerged from them, such as Ezra and Nehemiah, who guided them through the process of rebuilding and restoring the city that was lost. In their story we can also find our story as God guides us all through processes of rebuilding and restoring.

This teaching is part of our 2023 series, "Dwell: Abiding in the Shelter of the Most High.” In 2023, we will take another journey through the Scriptures, looking for the God-sightings in each book and seeing how we can learn to dwell in God's presence.

"The Books of Ezra and Nehemiah" :: Jennifer Cedeño

The people of Israel and Judah are in exile. Conquered by the Babylonians and now under the rule of the Persians, there are some who desire to return to their home land to rebuild and restore all that was lost. Ezra and Nehemiah tell their story of that rebuilding.

This teaching is part of our 2022 series, "Anchored,” and is part of our study on the books of history.
