"The Books of 1, 2, & 3 John and Jude" :: Joel Arissó

The three books of John and the book of Jude end the epistles section of the New Testament. In all four of these books, John and Jude warn against accepting false doctrine into the Church. They encourage both the whole congregations of the churches as well as individuals to whom the letters were written to hold fast to the truth and reject that which is false. These are the books of 1, 2, & 3 John and Jude.

"The Books of 1 & 2 Peter" :: Eddie Feliciano

In these two epistles written by him, Peter encourages the Church to remain dedicated to Jesus and to not be caught up in the ways of the world While we live in the world and work to make it a better place, Peter encourages Christians to remain separate from the world and holy unto God. These are the books of 1 & 2 Peter.

"The Book of Hebrews" :: Diana Nelson

No one knows who is the true author of the book of Hebrews. It is a book written, most likely to a community of the early church who was struggling in keeping their faith amidst all that was happening around them. Hebrews is a book of faith. It encourages the reader to be strong in their faith and points to examples of the "heroes of the faith" to guide and inspire. This is the book of Hebrews.

"The Books of Titus and Philemon" :: Debbie Schwartz

The books of Titus and Philemon were two letters written by Paul to his friends instructing them on Christian living and how to best represent Jesus in their lives and actions. In. Titus, Paul encourages his spiritual son to establish sound doctrine and godly leaders in Crete -- an island known for its corruption. In Philemon, Paul encourages his friend to treat his slave in a kind and godly manner as they were both followers of the Way. These are the books of Titus and Philemon.

"The Books of 1 & 2 Timothy" :: Carlos Cedeño

The two books of Timothy are letters from Paul to his spiritual son and a pastor of the early Church, Timothy. Timothy was a young pastor and was struggling with his role in the church and the weight of his public responsibilities. Paul encourages Timothy in his letters to hold on to his calling and gifts and to live out the purpose God has for him. These are the books of 1 & 2 Timothy.

"The Books of 1 & 2 Thessalonians" :: Eddie Feliciano

"The Book of Colossians" :: Carlos Cedeño

Paul wrote the book of Colossians to the church in Colosse, which was having issues with false doctrine being preached in their midst. Paul redirected the church to stay focused on Jesus and his sovereignty. He also encouraged them to practice gratitude... to be thankful for the blessins that God has given them in their lives. This is the book of Colossians.

"The Book of Philippians" :: Joel Arissó

The book of Philippians is a letter from Paul, who was imprisoned on house arrest, to the church of Philippi. Paul started this church some time before, and they gathered their resources to support Paul financially as well as to send people to him while he was imprisoned. Paul thanks the church for their generosity and gives them instruction on how to continue to live the Christian life -- a life of joy despite circumstances. This is the book of Philippians.

"The Book of Galatians" :: Eddie Feliciano

The book of Galatians was written by the apostle Paul to the church in Galatia. The Galatian church was in a state of confusion because other teachers came to the city after Paul with a different, more legalistic, message and tried to get them to adopt old burdensome laws rather than living in the grace of Christ. Paul wrote to get the church back on track and to encourage them to live in the freedom that Jesus provides. This is the book of Galatians.

"The Books of 1 & 2 Corinthians" :: Carlos Cedeño

The church in Corinth was having some issues embracing the acts and traits of their city that were in direct contrast to the teaching of Jesus. Paul wrote these two letters to get the church back on track, encouraging them to reject their sinful ways and to fully dive into the Way of Jesus. These are the books of 1 & 2 Corinthians.
