In the books of Chronicles, the further dealings of the kings of Israel and Judah are explored. Wars are fought. Decisions are made. Some kings do things the way they want to. Some seek the voice of God through the prophets. And some choose to follow while some choose to ignore the word of the prophets. In all, we get a glimpse of the importance of hearing God's voice and letting it guide our lives.

This teaching is part of our 2023 series, "Dwell: Abiding in the Shelter of the Most High.” In 2023, we will take another journey through the Scriptures, looking for the God-sightings in each book and seeing how we can learn to dwell in God's presence.

The Books of 1 and 2 Chronicles are companions to the Books of 1 & 2 Kings. They shed more light on the dealings of the kings of the nation and the exile an eventual return to the Promised Land.

This teaching is part of our 2022 series, "Anchored,” and is part of our study on the books of history.
